Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your 7-Day Great Migration Tanzania Safari begins in Arusha.
After breakfast, meet your professional safari guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife areas.
Tarangire is famous for its enormous baobab trees, open grasslands, seasonal wetlands, and impressive elephant populations.
Enjoy a game drive after entering the park. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, baboons, lions, and numerous bird species.
After your game drive, continue to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.

Once inside the Serengeti, begin your first game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti – Great Migration Safari
Wake up early for another exciting day in the Serengeti.
Today is focused on maximizing your time in areas where the migrating herds are currently concentrated.
If travelling during the calving season, your safari may focus on the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu region, where thousands of wildebeest calves can be born during the peak period.
If travelling during the Northern Serengeti migration season, the itinerary can instead focus on the Mara River region, where herds may gather before attempting river crossings.
River crossings are natural events and cannot be predicted or guaranteed. Your guide will position you in appropriate areas based on current conditions and animal movements.
Continue exploring throughout the day before returning to camp or lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
