Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your family will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

After settling in, spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a swimming pool, explore the gardens, or simply prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most fascinating wildlife destinations.

The park is famous for its large elephant populations, impressive baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Your family will enjoy a game drive through the park, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.

The park is known for its beautiful landscapes, large elephant population, diverse birdlife and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch or lodge lunch before continuing to Karatu for the evening.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The drive takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the Serengeti plains. As you enter the park, your safari officially begins in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife ecosystems.

Enjoy a game drive as you make your way toward your accommodation. The Serengeti is home to enormous populations of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles, which in turn attract some of Africa’s most impressive predators.

Look out for lions resting beneath trees, cheetahs scanning the plains and, with luck, leopards hidden in woodland areas.

Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may also encounter parts of the Great Migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch or lodge lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, arrive at your camp or lodge in the Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti.

After breakfast, head out on a full-day game drive with your private safari guide. The Serengeti is famous for its vast landscapes and exceptional wildlife, giving your family plenty of opportunities to observe animals in their natural environment.

Depending on the season and where wildlife is concentrated, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebra, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hyenas, hippos and numerous bird species.

Your guide can adjust the pace of the day according to your family’s interests and energy levels.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your game drive.

Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon for relaxation and another memorable evening in the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Later, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras and, with luck, black rhinos.

After the crater tour, ascend to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha Airport – Zanzibar

After breakfast, you can relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping before transferring to Arusha Airport. Your flight to Zanzibar will depart from Arusha Airport. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to your hotel in Stone town.

Day 8: Stone Town Tour and Transfer To Your Beach Hotel

After breakfast, we take a full-day Stone town tour with our local guide. Once we have completed the day’s activities, we will transfer you to your beach hotel.

Admire the narrow streets lined with residential houses that preserve their original Swahili-Omani themes. Exquisitely carved doorways identify the themes with metal studs, overhanging balconies, and latticed windows. Side by side, you will see churches and mosques. The churches were built because of the colonial presence in the country, and the mosques were commissioned by the sultans of Zanzibar. You will also visit other interesting destinations in the town.

Day 9-11: Relax on Zanzibar Beach and the Resort

These three days are spent in Zanzibar at your leisure. Use your time to relax on the beach and at the resort. Discover Zanzibar’s best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colorful coral reefs.

Day 12: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

Enjoy the last few hours before you depart from the resort. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where our service ends.

On the way back to Zanzibar International Airport, you can stop at Stone town to buy souvenirs.
